NAME: Steve Best
TWITTER: @SteveBestComic
HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR COMEDY: Visual, props and one-liners, and the occasional fart gag
WHAT MADE YOU DECIDE TO FIRST GET UP THERE AND GIVE COMEDY A TRY: Classic mucking around at school (although a very good student too), and then really got into magic, I mean massively into magic. I was finalist of the Young Magician of the Year (and then I wasn’t such a good student at school!)
FAVOURITE STAND-UP COMEDIAN:Steve Martin
BEST EVER SITCOM: Scrubs (the first 5 series)
WHAT DO YOU DISLIKE THE MOST ABOUT THE COMEDY INDUSTRY: I love it all… and not enough sarcasm
DOES YOUR PARTNER (IF APPLICABLE) LIKE COMEDY, AND THAT YOU ARE A COMEDIAN: Yes, and yes, until the club circuit took a nose dive
TOUGHEST TOWN/CITY TO PLAY AND WHY: The International Space Station, just no atmosphere… and then Liverpool
WHICH OTHER COMEDIAN WOULD YOU PAY TO WATCH: Steve Martin
WHAT ELSE DO YOU GET UP TO APART FROM MAKING PEOPLE LAUGH: Photography, poker, plumbing, pharting… anything that starts with a ‘p’
WHICH FAMOUS PERSON WOULD YOU LIKE TO CUSTARD-PIE IN THE FACE: Rhubarb the Dog (you have to be a certain age)
