1st December 2018 8:15 pm - 10:30 pm The Comedy Pub, 7 Oxendon Street, London, SW1Y 4EE
Comedian’s Comedian Of The Year Ian Stone headlines tonight’s show. Every year professional comedians vote for their fave act in the whole of the UK, which is obviously a huge honour, and Ian is the current holder. He is a must-see act, and you must see him at The Stand-Up Club! 😉
Our opening act Jeff Innocent won the prestigious Comedians’ Comedian award in 2016, and like Otiz is one of the most in-demand acts on the UK circuit. We are spoiling you! Jeff is a supreme comedian, as you will see tonight.
MC Andy Stedman will get things warmed up. Andy has recently been supporting comedy maestro Bobby Davro and is in fine form to whip you lot into shape if needed!
Pete Beckley has a disarmingly funny persona. In other words, you won’t be able to help but laugh. We think he is one of the finds of the comedy circuit this year, and adds great variety to the bill.
As always, we have one of the most promising new acts from the circuit for you to get first looks at before they are famous. Tonight we have political (but very funny) comedian Don Biswas, whose Twitter one-liners have us in stitches regularly.
The Comedy Pub is smack bang in the heart of London’s West End, 1-2 mins walk from Piccadilly Circus tube. With 4 floors, it boasts a brand new cocktail bar and three other bars to quench your thirst. There are designated areas for dining if you want to tuck into some Christmas grub. The comedy rooms hold between 110-130 people, enough for a sizzling atmosphere but not too many that you can’t get close enough to really see the comedians (not too close though, calm down!) We allocate seats for everyone, so you just have to turn up and enjoy the night.
