6th October 2018 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm The Comedy Pub, 7 Oxendon Street, London, SW1Y 4EE
The absolutely barking mad Olaf Falafel is our headline act tonight. A wonderfully silly comedian but also a brilliant children’s author. Olaf wrote our favourite ever kids’ books “Old Macdonald Heard A Parp” which we think should be on the GCSE reading list. Go get a copy and pretend you have a kid who you are buying it for to avoid embarrassment.
The madcap Abi Roberts is our MC and host. Abi is one of the most energetic, fun acts on the circuit, always a popular choice and we think you’ll love her.
Zahra Barri is one of the fastest rising acts around. She has recently signed a deal with a top comedy agent and is making waves in the industry. Her recent Edinburgh show “Talk Like An Egyptian” was a big success, so much so we heard The Bangles wrote a song about it.
Our opening act is John Newton, a circuit veteran with a shed load of proper jokes. See how many you can remember and tell your mates the next day (no filming, that’s cheating!)
Our new comedian for the night is Martin Durchov, a Bulgarian with a sharp wit and probably better English than many English comedians – although our MC Abi can speak Russian. This is getting complicated, I’ll shut up now. Just buy tickets, that’s all you need to do now…
The Comedy Pub is smack bang in the heart of London’s West End, 1-2 mins walk from Piccadilly Circus tube. With 4 floors, it boasts a brand new cocktail bar and three other bars to quench your thirst. The comedy room holds 110 people, enough for a sizzling atmosphere but not too many that you can’t get close (not too close!) to the comedians. We allocate seats for everyone, so you just have to turn up and enjoy the night.
Your ticket will be emailed to you. No need too print just bring your phone with the ticket on, and we’ll have your name on the list anyway should all else fail!
You can also purchase a pre-show meal which guarantees you a reserved table if you so wish, and there are other food/drink options available too. Fill your boots…
