29th November 2018 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm The Comedy Pub, 7 Oxendon Street, London, SW1Y 4EE
Comedy circuit legend Otiz Cannelloni is our headline act with his mix of gags and comedy magic. Described as “a magical wag, bewitching” by The Guardian, Otiz is one of the most likeable and fun acts around and always leaves crowds with a feel-good factor.
Our MC tonight is the super-cool London lad Joey Page. Joey is known for his stylish attire as well as his witty comedy, so you are in safe (if far too well-dressed) hands tonight.
Our opening act is Martin Durchov – the only Bulgarian comedian ever to have played at The Stand-Up Club! In 2018 Martin has been a Finalist in the prestigious So You Think You’re Funny competition and our very own Get-Up, Stand-Up competition (Sat 29 Jan), and we think you’ll love him.
Mad Ron is our middle act for the evening, fresh from another stretch ‘inside’ (that’s prison for those of you who don’t know!) One of the finest character acts around. And if you don’t laugh, he’ll probably beat you up.
Finally we have Rich Spalding who won his heat in our Get-Up, Stand-Up new act competition. He’ll be doing a short set for you as he begins his journey to potential stardom. Or not. You decide (we think he’s great).
The Comedy Pub is smack bang in the heart of London’s West End, 1-2 mins walk from Piccadilly Circus tube. With 4 floors, it boasts a brand new cocktail bar and three other bars to quench your thirst before and after the show (and during the intervals!) There are designated areas for dining if you want to tuck into some Christmas grub. The comedy rooms hold between 110-130 people, enough for a sizzling atmosphere but not too many that you can’t get close enough to really see the comedians (not too close though, calm down!) We allocate seats for everyone, so you just have to turn up and enjoy the night.
