Ant Dewson passed his Grade 6 piano exam when he was 14 – and he hasn’t got any better since then! Classical music’s loss was comedy’s gain, and Ant now puts his limited skills to good use performing silly songs at comedy clubs up and down the country.
Ant has shared the stage with some of the UK’s finest comedians including Harry Hill, Michael McIntyre, Frank Skinner, Micky Flanagan and Lee Mack. He has also shared the stage with some absolute shockers, all of whom he is much too polite to mention here.
Ant has been the regular host of four London Comedy Clubs – Roar With Laughter, Tooting Rhubarb, Desperately Seeking Stagetime and the inventively titled Wimbledon Comedy Club. He doesn’t run any of them any longer because it’s too much like hard work! And Ant is very much afraid of hard work.
