Terms and Conditions

By booking with us online or by email you confirm that you have read the terms and conditions of The Stand-Up Club Ltd.

Line-ups may change at the last minute if an act has to pull out. Tickets are for the show as a whole not for any individual performer, and we cannot offer refunds for changes to line-up on club nights.

Online bookings will only be confirmed when we have received full payment for the cost of the tickets plus any applicable charges. You will receive an email to confirm acceptance of your booking.

All customers in groups of 4 or more will have reserved seats together, for groups of 3 or less it is first-come first-served and whilst you can usually be sat together we cannot guarantee this if you arrive less than 15 minutes before the start of a show. Any customers arriving after the first interval (usually about 30 mins after the start of the show) could potentially forfeit their seats with no refund unless they let us know they are arriving late.

All meals are PRE-SHOW and in a separate room to the comedy show itself (but in the same building). We suggest being sat down to eat a minimum of 90 mins before show-time. The Stand-Up Club are not responsible for any customers missing the start of the comedy show due to late arrival for the meal.

All customers must be over 18 years of age after the curfew time of 8.30pm. Photo identification must be provided if requested.

Group Bookings: All groups must arrive at least 20 minutes before the show is scheduled to start to claim your reserved seats. If you arrive later than this you may not be able to all sit together.

Management reserves the right to refuse entry.

Disruptive behaviour or anything that the management of The Stand-Up Club deem disruptive to the show or the audience is not permitted during the performance. Breach of any of these conditions, or any unacceptable behaviour likely to cause disruption may result in management ejecting you from the venue, with no refund. We want you to have fun and some acts like interaction, and it is fine to engage in banter with the MC, but please be aware that the audience is there to see the show and would prefer to hear the jokes of the professional comedian than your attempts at humour! Incessant chatting is included in this behaviour, as it is very off-putting to acts and audience alike.

Customers consent to being photographed and/or filmed as members of the audience.

Refund Policy

It is the responsibility of the person purchasing the ticket to make sure it is for the correct venue, date and time. Once purchased, we are not obliged to accept any cancellations or ticket exchanges, and we do not offer refunds unless the show is not going ahead. We will attempt to help customers if they have made a genuine error in booking and want to change the date of their tickets, but this does not include members of a group pulling out and deciding they no longer want to/or are able to come. This is the same at most ticketed events such as theatre shows, sports matches and music concerts, so please respect this. In the case of genuine illness we will try to offer you alternative dates to come and see a show where possible but cannot guarantee this. When we do offer refunds, we are unable to refund the booking fee unless the show is not going ahead.

Bookings made through a ticketing agent are only considered valid upon receipt of a confirmation email from the agent. The agent’s terms & conditions are also applicable.

If an event is rescheduled or cancelled, you will be notified by phone or email (using the contact details you provided during booking, please check junk folders especially if you use Hotmail). For rescheduled events, customers will be offered tickets of equivalent value. For cancelled events, customers will be offered tickets to alternative events on a date that suits them.
