She’s a multiple Standard Bank Ovation Award winner for her comedy and theatre work at the National Arts Festival in Makhanda, Africa’s largest arts festival.
Her stand-up has been featured on Comedy Central Africa, SABC, M-Net, and South Africa’s premiere streaming service, Showmax.
Kate was a subject of the documentary series Behind the Funny, which highlighted 10 of South Africa’s top comedians.
As an actor, Kate is best known for her SAFTA-nominated role as Taryn in cult TV show Tali’s Baby Diary and her starring role in 2025 Showmax Original rom-com, Soos Pynappel Op Pizza, across from fellow comedian Schalk Bezuidenhout.
